I am a freelance multimedia journalist with experience in metropolitan and regional news reporting, niche magazine editing, B2B communications, NGO public relations, photography, videography and citizen science. In addition to writing and underwater photography for international marine publications, I've contributed to air-breathing mastheads including Good Weekend (SMH), National Geographic, Cosmopolitan, Islands, Simply Living, Choice, and GEO.

I've also enjoyed a long career in SCUBA diving as an instructor, live-aboard dive guide, expedition director and coral reef ecologist.
